What does a Flash Order kiosk cost?
Nothing per month and nothing per kiosk. Flash Order is funded by a 35¢ fee added to each customer’s order at checkout. It isn’t taken out of your payout. Square’s standard processing applies to the payment, as it does today.
What does my customer see?
A clear, simple checkout with a 35¢ fee shown on their order before they pay.
Do I have to leave Square?
No. Flash Order runs on your existing Square account. Orders and payments go into Square, and Square pays you out exactly as it does now.
What hardware do I need?
An iPad and a Square Stand is what most of our operators use. For a large-screen kiosk, use a Mac, a touchscreen with HDMI input, and a Square Terminal reader.
Can I run more than one kiosk?
Yes. Add as many kiosk stations as you like at no extra charge.
How long does setup take?
Most operators are live in minutes: sign in with Square, your menu imports, and you can take your first order the same day.
Does it support loyalty?
Yes. Use your Square Loyalty program or Flash Order’s built-in loyalty. Customers can sign up, earn, and redeem right at the kiosk.
Can it print tickets?
Yes. Flash Order works with Star Micronics printers (the Star TSP100 and Star mcPrint series), and orders can also print from a printer connected to Square POS.
